I'm an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer with a passion for building intuitive and high-performace web applications. Currently at Aura Finance, a Techstars-backed startup focused on financial wellness, I'm building end-to-end features including event calendars, gamified onboarding experiences, and interactive financial assessment tools. I've led projects from concept to deployment and leveraged event-based architecture to build scalable solutions.
Previously at MRGN.ai, I led frontend development for a Restaurant Chatbot feature, designing an interactive Canvas-style visualization tool that parsed CSV data and rendered dynamic visualizations. I also built a scalable microservice for scraping ingredient cost data and translated Figma designs into production-ready React pages. My freelance work has included building mobile apps with React and Capacitor, custom WordPress plugins, and delivering fast, high-quality solutions for early-stage startups.
Before transitioning into tech, I spent several years as a Technology Teacher and Department Head, where I developed and implemented a comprehensive K-4 curriculum centered on coding, robotics, and engineering. That background in teaching and curriculum design has shaped my collaborative style and sharpened my communication skills—helping me excel on cross-functional teams and build products that truly meet user needs.
Whether I'm coding a new feature, optimizing performance, or brainstorming with designers, I strive to keep users at the center of every decision. I hold an MS in Childhood Education from Hunter College and a BS in Musical Semantics from CUNY, and I'm constantly exploring new technologies, frameworks, and best practices to keep my skill set fresh and my curiosity alive.

At this Techstars-backed startup focused on financial wellness, I implement major product features end-to-end including event calendars, streak modals, gamified onboarding experiences with progressive unlock flows, and interactive financial assessment tools. I leverage event-based architecture to build scalable solutions and partner closely with design and product teams to ship new features such as registration and assessment flows, improving conversion and engagement through faster iteration cycles.
